About the Program

Our HVAC/R program prepares students for work in the HVAC field and gives them the opportunity to earn up to three industry-specific credentials. Our students learn to install, repair, and maintain the operating conditions of heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems while complying with EPA regulations. Instruction includes lab and trade safety, detailed work with control systems, mathematics for HVAC/R, and the development of customer relation skills. We use the NCCER Apprenticeship post-secondary education curriculum and include certification options in CPR/First Aid and OSHA 10.
