Students complete a series of courses and lab work, coupled with 4,000 hours of paid field work over a period of two years. During this time, apprentices are exposed to every facet of the construction industry u2014 from architectural and engineering roles to the many logistics involved in general contracting, from safety and regulatory guidelines to project planning, site surveying, blueprint reading, and material testing.
