The Electrical Systems Technology certificate program offers training in the fundamental concepts of electrical equipment and components that comprise industrial, commercial, and residential systems. Students will learn how to identify electrical equipment, understand the theory of operation, and conduct maintenance on equipment and components within electrical systems. Students will use their attained knowledge of troubleshooting techniques, electrical schematics, and technical manual interpretation to conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems equipment. Soft-skill applications will be included to prepare students for employment.
