Studentu2019s skills and knowledge in the field of electricity will be further developed in this course. Industrial electrical systems will be covered extensively and will include: three-phase electrical systems, industrial motor controls, distribution systems, industrial electrical motors, and transformers. Students enrolled in this course will spend significant time practicing and learning the National Electrical Code in preparation for future employment in the electrical trades. Students will be very involved in Skills USA. This course is available with two additional options (dual enrollment & STEM Academy) which can both be utilized. Preferences will be given to students who take advantage of dual enrollment and/or STEM academy options.
