About the Program
This two-part program helps students develop the reading and math skills required to understand technical manuals, analyze diagrams and charts, and troubleshoot HVAC problems using algebraic reasoning and problemsolving principles. In part one of this training, students learn and master the fundamental skills and concepts required to earn the EPA 608 Universal Certification. Part two of this training builds on the skills developed in part one and includes further practical training as students prepare for the EPA 609 MVAC Certification, which is required for any technician working on automotive units, as well as Indoor Air Quality, Preventative Maintenance Technician, and Green HVAC/R Certifications that bolster a technicianu2019s skill set and employability.
