About the Program

Graduates are qualified to work as HVAC helpers, installers and technicians in offices and residential buildings. Our CET programs take 6 to 9 months to complete and leads to industry certification. After graduation, students are certified and prepared to start their new careers earning an on average $18/hour, which is higher than DCu2019s minimum wage. Our training is both practical and hands-on. It includes an externship with one of ouru00a0Employer Partners, so that students can practice their skills in the real world. During the program, students also have access to our otheru00a0services, includingu00a0housingu00a0andu00a0u00a0healthcare.u00a0 Applications for CET programs are open to adults over the age of 18, living in the DC area.
