This three-hour course is designed to provide a summary of the most noteworthy changes to the 2018 Virginia Mechanical Code (VMC) from the previous (2015) edition. There are dozens of changes in the 2018 edition of the VMC and this course does not identify every change to the code. As professional tradesman, all HVAC technicians are encouraged to obtain a copy of the 2018 regulations and to familiarize themselves with all the changes that affect their work. This course will highlight the most significant changes in the 2018 Code. This three-hour course is recognized by the Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR) provides an overview of significant changes in the 2018 Virginia Mechanical Code (VMC) since the previous code cycle (2015 Virginia Mechanical Code).
