    The SMAu00ae Designation program provides the tools to improve operations, create energy efficiencies, reduce costs, and enhance the value of an asset. An SMAu00ae designation holder is responsible for the operations of the building, as well as management of the team of technicians assigned to the building. In the SMAu00ae program, you will learn how to streamline the operations of your building so you can manage energy-efficient, environmentally sound, and cost-effective building systems. Building on the SMTu00ae Designation program, youu2019ll gain knowledge and experience in administration, energy management, and environmental health and safety issues. You can begin pursuing your SMAu00ae at any time during your career. Before you can be awarded your SMAu00ae Designation, you are required to demonstrate three years of verifiable experience as a stationary engineer or equivalent. This experience must be performed for a minimum property portfolio of 40,000 square feet. Eight courses are required: Air Handling, Water Treatment, and Plumbing Systems, Boilers, Heating Systems, & Applied Mathematics, Building Design and Maintenance, Electrical Systems and Illumination, Energy Management and Controls, Environmental Health and Safety Issues, Managing the Organization, Refrigeration Systems and Accessories

If you’re learning to program for the first time, or if you’re coming from a different language, this course, JavaScript: Getting Started, will give you the basics for coding in JavaScript. First, you’ll discover the types of applications that can be built with JavaScript, and the platforms they’ll run on.

Next, you’ll explore the basics of the language, giving plenty of examples. Lastly, you’ll put your JavaScript knowledge to work and modify a modern, responsive web page. When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge in JavaScript to create simple programs, create simple web applications, and modify web pages.
