Your paid training starts with 6-8 weeks of classes at Civic Works in East Baltimore, Monday through Friday, 8am to 3pm. These training classes will include: Personal and professional development courses, Construction certifications, including OSHA 30, Hands-on training in the fundamentals of commercial roofing and solar panel installation. After completing the initial training at Civic Works, youu2019ll complete 4 weeks of paid on-the-job training with one of our roofing or solar employer roofing installation partner companies in Baltimore City or Baltimore County. During this period, youu2019ll work full-time with professional crews on their actual worksites, with the possibility of overtime.
