AltEnergy was founded to accelerate penetration of clean energy installation in low income communities by providing on-boarding solar career training to underserved communities. Students will be taught by lead instructor, Reuben Umunna, who holds a master in energy and sustainability from Johns Hopkins University and doctorate degree in engineering. He is a NABCEP certified PV Installation Professional and a certified IREC Master Instructor for the NABCEP Associate and PV Installation Professional training. Upon completion of this program students will earn NABCEP certification.
